Follow us to Richmond, Virginia this week where we are visiting our dealer James River Marine! Richmond is a historically rich town with roots dating back to 1609 when Jamestown colonists established a colony in the New World. While in Richmond we will visit the Museum of the Confederacy, the Hollywood Cemetery, Wilton House and our dealer James River Marine! Civil War buffs will absolutely love this museum! The Museum of the Confederacy opened in 1896 and contains an extraordinary collection of artifacts from the Confederate States of America. The collection has more than 130,000 historical items donated from soldiers and their families.

Plan a walking tour with the Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia! Tours are conducted Monday through Saturday from 8 AM to 5 PM. It’s a historical cemetery that includes the burial sites of several Civil War soldiers, two presidents and the Davis and Jefferson Family tombs.

Our last stop before visiting our dealer James River Marine is the Wilton House. The Randolph family owned the 200-acre property for more than 100 years, and used it as a plantation.The house was host to several key historical players including Presidents George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Tours of the house are available every day of the week except Sunday.
