Located in the South Pacific at New Caledonia, the reef is the world’s second-longest double-barrier coral reef! It’s second to the Great Barrier Reef located in Australia. The UNESCO declared the New Caledonia Barrier Reef a World Heritage Site on July 7, 2008.
