Seared Ahi Tuna

Have you ever tried seared ahi tuna? We have and we love it! Check out this great recipe from! Your friends are sure to be impressed!


  • Ahi Tuna Steaks (2- 5 Oz)
  • Kosher Salt, 1 Tsp
  • Cayenne Pepper, 1/4 Tsp
  • Butter, 1/2 Tbs
  • Olive Oil, 2 Tbs
  • Peppercorns, 1 Tsp


Combine salt and cayenne pepper, season the steaks

Heat a skillet on a medium-high heat setting, then add butter and olive oil, and melt. Add peppercorns into the skillet and cook until they pop and open, this should take about 5 minutes. Add in tuna steaks and cook until desired temperature. For rare tastes, cook one to two minutes each side.
