We’re excited for this year’s Ft. Myers Spring Boat Show. It’s an international event that encompasses anything and everything boating and accessories. The show is being held at the Lee County Civic Center, tickets are $7.00 per person and children 12 and under are free. This year’s hours are from 10 AM to 6 PM, Thursday through Saturday, and 10 AM to 5 PM on Sunday. After you have selected your brand new Monterey Boat with Sport Boats Marine, pick out this season’s hottest water sports accessories. More information about the show can be found online.

We hope you saved your appetite for a delicious meal at one of the area’s best restaurants, Fresh Catch Bistro! Grab a table on the deck overlooking Ft. Myers Beach and enjoy a breathtaking sunset while you dine. The restaurant has several highly acclaimed dishes including Grilled Mediterranean Salmon, a diverse raw bar and Kobe beef burgers if you’re not a fan of seafood. Fresh Catch Bistro has something to satisfy everyone’s tastes.

After dinner take the kids for a fun game of mini golf at Smuggler’s Cove Adventure Golf. Smuggler’s Cove is an adventurous 18-hole course where you can feed the alligators after completion. Each hole is a little more challenging than the last and is perfect for mini golfers of all skill sets. Don’t forget to share your alligator feeding pictures with us on Facebook.

A trip to Florida is not complete if you do not enjoy a day at the beach! Before traveling, spend a day in the sun and sand on Ft. Myers Beach. It’s not particularly crowded and there are several restaurants and shops nearby if you need to escape the sun. Have fun building sand castles and boogie boarding, don’t forget to wear sunscreen!
