Don’t miss the exclusive VIP-only “Stars over Alabama” red-carpet preview event! There is something there for the whole family to enjoy including marine artist Larry Rackley, whom will be providing art classes for the children. Visit the show’s website for more information about this exclusive red-carpet event. There are also several great events happening on Saturday during the show including educational seminars, live music and a Lucca Fashion Show. The show opens to the public on Friday, March 27th. Visit our dealer, Harborview Marine to see our brand new line up!
Check out the area’s Indian & Sea Museum after the show. The building was the area’s schoolhouse in 1910 and showcases several Native American artifacts and memorabilia. There are also several items there that teach us more about the Gulf Coast fishing heritage. Several of the area’s original families have donated their personal items to the museum’s collection. The building celebrated 100 years in 2010!
After you have toured the Indian & Sea Museum, grab a bite to eat at local hotspot, Cosmo’s Restaurant and Bar. It’s a great restaurant just off the beaten path in Orange Beach, Alabama. They are known for their dishes that deliver non-stop eclectic flavor from start to finish. Don’t leave the restaurant without trying their Leaf Wrapped Fish, recently named one of “the top 100 dishes to eat before you die” by Alabama Food. Local’s also recommend chicken roulade wrapped in bacon, traditional crab cakes and several different sushi items. All ingredients used in the restaurant are fresh and local, all steaks are hand-cut and all fish is local. Bon Apetit!
