Always dressed to impress, the penguin is an aquatic bird inhabiting the southern hemisphere where they spend half of their lives in the water and the remainder on land for their breeding season.

The penguins’ diet consists mainly of krill, fish, squid and other easily accessible marine animals. There are currently an estimated 17 to 20 living species of penguin.
