We’re taking a trip to Canada this week to visit our dealer, Bayview Yacht Harbor in Portland, Ontario! While we are visiting, we will learn about the history of the piano at the Canadian Piano Museum, wander through Spindle Tree Gardens, and take a ride with our dealer!

The music enthusiast in your family will love touring the Canadian Piano Museum! The museum is located in Napanee, Ontario in the historic Stevenson House. While you are touring you will learn about the history of the canadian piano from the 1800’s and 1900’s. There are several pianos and organs on display that boast exceptional master craftsmanship. John Stevenson was the late owner of the house who had owned the piano factory in Kingston! Plan 2 to 3 hours for the tour of this beautiful museum!

Spindle Tree Gardens is located in Tamworth, Ontario and is just a short drive away from Portland! There are more than 20 acres to explore at this beautiful garden, it’s a great way to spend a day outdoors! They are closed during the winter season but reopen in May and remain open until October. Spindle Tree Garden has thousands of spring bulbs, several perennial walks and rose gardens to explore. If you work up an appetite while in the garden, enjoy a light lunch and afternoon tea service in the Garden Tea Room.

Our last stop in Portland, Ontario is with our dealer, Bayview Yacht Harbor! Bayview Yacht Harbor is family-owned and located on Big Rideau Lake! They are a full service marina that offers both covered and open-air boat slips, and are opened year-round! Stop by to say, “hello” and they just might take you for a spin in an M3 or M5!
