Employees are responsible for trimming and grinding all rough fiberglass and making necessary cuts and through holes for assembly installation.

Entry pay starts at $18.00  per hour and a $500 incentive pay after completing 90 days. 

QA Inspector for Monterey Boats

The Quality Inspector performs in-process inspections of assigned stages to ensure the boat complies with company standards.

                                 SEWING MACHINE OPERATOR

Full time position as a sewing machine operator. Monday through Thursday from 5am to 3:45pm. 

Monterey & Blackfin Boats is currently looking to add production Assemblers to our team.

Entry pay starts at $16.25  per hour. 

Fiberglass Repair Worker (Patchers).

Repair Worker determines techniques needed to repair defects on fiberglass parts and preps, patches, sprays and finishes defect areas.

Gel Coater

Monterey & Blackfin Boats is currently recruiting an experienced Gel Coater to work on fiberglass boats.

This is a 4 day/ 10 hour shift from 12:00AM – 10:45AM Monday – Thursday.

Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour for experienced Gel Coater  plus a $1,000.00 incentive bonus after completing 90 days of employment as a Gel Coater. 

Auto Body paint experience usually translated well to this job. Experienced Gel Coater

• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Performs in mold application of gel coat on decks, hulls, liners, and small parts.
• Has a working knowledge of gel coat spray equipment, tip sizes, pump pressures and catalyst ratios.
